About our Face Masks
With the current state of the world, even though we are apart, we are closer than ever. It is imperative that we each do our part to protect and guard ourselves, as well as those around us, and we have a unique opportunity to help those less fortunate and more at risk in our communities, as well as the rest of the world. As such, we have started hand-sewing masks.
These masks offer more than simply aiding in the protection of the public; they also give Tia Sadie the opportunity to provide support and aid to the communities we support. We have partnered with Paella Lifestyle, which is allowing us to provide support to people in Guatemala, as well as Spain.
Each purchase of one of our masks, or any product on our site, directly supports a member of a community in Guatemala who is an integral part of the Tia Sadie brand. Jorge has been involved with Tia Sadie for years, driving and moving our products, as well as being our translator. He has taken great care of the Tia Sadie family and has, and continues to be, an invaluable resource for us.
Due to the pandemic affecting Guatemala, Jorge and his family are currently unable to work. As such, they have been dealt an unimaginable burden, and the support we are able to give to Jorge and his family provides them with the bare essentials that he and his family need to survive in this climate. In addition, it gives them hope for the future, and sends a message to the world that we are, in fact, in this together.
We are currently looking for more volunteers to add to our donation team. If you are in the USA and can sew, or if you are unable to help out in that regard, but would still like to make a donation to help us continue making masks for our community locally and globally, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. to learn more
